Mack Nievera-Pompey
Coordinator & Trainer | PVD
Hi, my name is Mack, and I am from a small town in eastern CT. I have grown up around dogs my entire life, specifically Golden Retrievers and German Shepards, which seem to be my favorite breeds. Growing up as an only child, my best friend was my golden, Rex, who I spent every moment with. As a kid, I would often walk to the neighbor’s house to see their two goldens. I love working with all of the dogs and families of Tails N’ Trails. My favorite part of working at Tails N’ Trails is going on hikes and meeting all the new furry friends. Helping the animals grow and learn every day is such a rewarding experience.

Selah Casey
Walker | PVD
My name is Selah and I am from a small town in Connecticut. I have always loved animals, but had a special interest in dogs and cats. Pictured above is Rocket, Golden retriever/Aussie mix, who was my soul dog and best friend for 14 years! He was the most loyal, energetic, smart and spunky dog that I've ever encountered, and showed me how amazing dogs (and all animals) can really be. As a pet owner, he taught me the importance of relationships with animals and how to be a patient, yet fun leader and companion - and I LOVED learning from him.
After recently moving to Massachusetts for grad school, I realized that this would be the first time I didn't have a pet in 15 years. Since I needed a job and primarily work with people, I thought it would be a great opportunity to find a job working with animals. I have always been a fan of Tails N' Trails' mission, so I am so happy to join the team! I can't wait to learn and grow with all of the TNT pets, and I'm committed to bringing my best while working with them. Fun fact: The tattoo on my arm is a rocketship, dedicated to Rocket!

Sophie Tesla
Walker | Warwick
Hi! My name is Sophie Tesla. I am from upstate New York and currently reside here in Rhode Island. As an only child my best friend growing up was my yellow lab, Miley. I was so lucky to spend 10 years with her silly self. In the past 5 years I have worked as a kennel assistant and volunteered at local animal shelters. Through this I realized that working with dogs was something I was born to do and something that I look forward to everyday! Dogs hold a special place in my heart, and I'm dedicated to their well-being. I'll bring that same level of care and dedication to any job involving our furry friends and can’t wait to meet yours!

Olivia Cyr

My name is Olivia, and I grew up on the Connecticut/ Rhode Island border. From a really young age, I have been really drawn to all dogs. Big, small, tame or wild, I always wanted to be around them. Growing up, I’d go to all my neighbors house and ask them to walk their dogs, since I wasn’t allowed any of my own. When I turned 18, I moved to Nashville and spent 4 years there. While I was there, I was driving along the road and came across a tiny min pin stray, who to say the least, looked like she really needed my help. I rescued her which lead to adoption. She spent the beginning of my twenties with me, and at 26 I adopted her a brother. A german shepard, husky mix. My real life Balto. I started walking dogs in Providence in 2020, and started with Tails N Trails in 2023. I love that I am able to experience more of nature with this company, and am able to form such close bonds with my regular pups along with the humans that come with them. I’m so thankful that I get to do what I love every day.

Hope to take your pup out on many adventures as well!

Eve Tobin-Caron
Boarder & Walker | PVD/Bristol County
Hello! My name is Eve and I live in Barrington. I am a lifelong lover of dogs and have had dogs in my life as long as I can remember. After learning about the plight of rescue dogs and the immense effort to bring massive amount of dogs up north, I decided to become a foster with Rhode Home Rescue. We fostered many puppies and helped find them loving homes. As happens to many dog fosters, my family fell in love with two big, goofy puppies and decided to have them join our family. From there I began boarding dogs in my home. We have a nice size property with a big fenced in yard and the dogs generally have the run of the house! In Barrington we also have a lovely long beach with is great for dog walks as well a nice park nearby and lovely neighborhood. As my kids are getting older, meeting and caring for new Doggy friends helps to keep my heart and home full.

Danie Galvis
Walker | PVD
Hello! My name is Danie. I rescued my dog Milky 10 years ago and she changed my life forever! She is a German Shepherd mix. With Milky being my first dog, I had to learn a lot of new things from the dog world! I fell in love with her and quickly learned how unique each dog is. It is how I found that my happy place is always next to a dog. Growing up my mom had a cat daycare at our home, so I've been surrounded by animals my whole life. I have been a dog walker since 2021. I find my job really rewarding and exciting. I give my best everyday and always want to give the dogs I care for beautiful experiences. I treat them all with love and respect, the same way I’d want my Milky to be treated.

Sabrina Barry

Hi! I’m Sabrina. I’ve been working in animal care for the last 8 years. I started out in daycare for a small veterinary clinic and found my passion for looking after dogs. Providing your pups with enrichment and the best possible care is incredibly important to me. Pictured above is my 9 year old American Bulldog Jackson, who I adopted shortly after starting my career in pet care. He is my whole world! 🐾

Hello, our names are Shayeli and Curtis, and we are a dog walking duo. We had been walking dogs together for over two years before joining the Tails N’ Trails team, and have experience caring for the many different kinds of pets we have had over the years. We love animals and walking on trails, and we are so blessed to be able to have a job that fits us so well. When we saw the position available we were so excited and we still are every time we get to pick up another pup.
